Using Agents from the Dashboard
While you can orchestrate agents via the API, the Makinari Dashboard provides a visual way to manage your AI workforce.
The Agent Roster
Your Site comes with a pre-configured roster of agents. Each agent has a specific role:
- CMO: The Chief Marketing Officer. You interact mostly with the CMO. You give the CMO high-level goals (Requirements), and it plans the strategy and delegates to the rest of the team.
- Sales: Finds leads using the Finder API, enriches their profiles, and manages outbound communication.
- Copywriter: Specializes in tone, structure, and writing. Handles emails, blog posts, and ad copy.
- Data Analyst: Processes large amounts of data, builds ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles), and creates audience segments.
- Customer Support: Monitors the website chat and inbound emails to answer user questions using your Brand Context.
Managing Agent Access
You can control which tools and channels each agent is allowed to use.
- Go to the Agents tab in the dashboard.
- Select an agent (e.g., Copywriter).
- Under Permissions, you can toggle specific tools on or off. For example, you might allow the Copywriter to draft emails, but disable their ability to actually send them without human approval.
Intervening in Agent Work
Agents operate autonomously under a Token Budget, but you remain in control.
- Approval Gates: You can configure Requirements to pause before taking destructive actions (like sending an email blast). The agent will wait for you to click “Approve” in the dashboard.
- Direct Chat: You can open a direct chat with any agent to course-correct them. If the Copywriter writes a draft you don’t like, you can chat with them and say, “Make this more professional and emphasize the security features.” They will revise the artifact immediately.
