Outbound Configuration

Configure your outbound communication strategies to effectively reach your audience. This section guides you through setting up channels and campaigns for proactive engagement using the Growth Marketer agent.

Configuration Steps

1. Channel Setup

Navigate to Settings > Channels to configure your communication platforms. The system supports multiple providers:

  • Email:
    • AgentMail (Recommended): Set agent_email in your settings. This provides built-in inbox management and tracking.
    • SMTP: Alternatively, configure your own SMTP server details (host, port, user, pass) under email.email.
  • WhatsApp:
    • Twilio: Configure your Twilio account details (account_sid, auth_token, phone_number). Ensure your templates are approved by WhatsApp for outbound initiation.

2. Sender Identity

Define your sender profiles to ensure messages are recognizable and trusted:

  • Email: Verify your sending domain (especially for AgentMail) to improve deliverability and avoid spam filters.
  • WhatsApp: Your business profile name and logo will be visible to recipients.

3. Campaign Creation

Campaigns are managed by the Growth Marketer agent.

  1. Define Strategy: The agent uses your business goals to suggest campaign types (e.g., Lead Generation, User Activation).
  2. Target Audience: Campaigns use segments to target specific user groups. Ensure your data sources are connected to populate these segments.
  3. Content Generation: The Copywriter agent assists in drafting high-converting messages for your chosen channels.
  4. Launch: Once approved, the campaign is executed. The system handles message dispatching, respecting channel-specific limits (e.g., WhatsApp’s 24-hour window).

Key Locations

  • Settings > Channels: Central configuration for Email, WhatsApp, and other providers.
  • Agents > Growth Marketer: The interface for planning, launching, and monitoring campaigns.
  • Agents > Copywriter: Tools for generating and refining message content.

Best Practices

  • Domain Warm-up: If using a new email domain, gradually increase sending volume to build reputation.
  • WhatsApp Templates: Use pre-approved templates for initiating conversations. Free-form messages are only allowed within the 24-hour response window.
  • Personalization: Leverage dynamic fields (e.g., {{first_name}}, {{company}}) to increase engagement.
  • Compliance: Ensure you have user consent before sending outbound messages (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
